Evening students program length- 38 weeks/9 months
Orientation: Career Opportunities, Life Skills, Professional Image and Communication for success.
General Science: Infection Control, General Anatomy, Physiology, Skin Diseases and Disorders, Basics of Chemistry and Electricity.
Skin care: Process of skin analysis, consultations, skin types, Fitzpatrick skin types, treatments, Product knowledge, Machine knowledge, Appropriate treatments for each skin type, spa room set up.
Facial Treatments: Several different facials, facial massage, facial devices and technology, lash lift & tinting, brow tinting, brow laminations, chemical peels & dermaplaning certification through PCA.
Hair removal: waxing various areas of the body.
Makeup Essentials: Facial Makeup, makeup techniques, sanitation education.
Business skills: Preparing for licensure and employment, creating a business plan and learning the business of becoming an Esthetician.
